Arca Swiss Monoball P1+ CP ClicPan with Quickset FlipLock Device

The NEW ARCA-SWISS Monoball®p1+ CP clicPan now has a low-profile and lightweight mechanism which provides a variable interval top panning base. It can be easily switched from free to angular, step-by-step rotation. 10 positions can be selected on a setting ring - 40° (9 steps), 30° (12 steps), 24° (15 steps), 20° (18 steps), 15° (24 steps), 12° (30 steps), 10° (36 steps), 7.5° (48 steps), 6° (60 stops) with an off position for free panning movement. Once a setting is chosen, the camera will pan in equal increments, and give a tactile and audible clic as it stops at each set step. The graduated scale around the edge of the base shows the exact angle turned through and a locking lever prevents further movement of the panning base.

The Monoball®p1+ CP has a new slotted opening, allowing the head to tilt 90°. It is quick and easy to change the monoball®p1+ from horizontal to vertical camera orientation, or into positions for unusual overhead or ground views.

ARCA-SWISS has improved the friction control of the monoball®p1. The new monoball®p1+ offers the choice of more control over heavier loads, or less tension with lighter loads. These choices provide added stability and improved control for fine adjustments.

A sensitivity threshold can be set by turning the knurled wheel and memorized by turning the friction wheel. Adjust the tension for movement according to the weight and leverage load of the camera.

Equipped with an aspherical ball and three internal locking elements, monoball®p tripod heads provide a firm hold on the ball. The patented design applies a uniform force around the ball, ensuring ultra smooth movements of the camera on any axis. Fast and intuitive, one knurled locking ring on the head loosens and tightens the monoball®.
