Delivery Information

We operate a standard UK working week where Monday to Friday are designated business (working) days; we do not dispatch any orders over weekends or public holidays. All delivery estimates are quoted in business days and do not include weekends or public holidays.

We aim to dispatch all orders received before 15:00 GMT/BST on the same business day (subject to stock & security checks); however to accommodate the potential for circumstances outside of our control this is not guaranteed. Please note that at quiet times orders received after 15:00 may also be dispatched the same day.

Delivery times quoted are our best estimates of the service offered by our couriers and we shall not be held liable for any consequential loss or damage resulting from failure to meet these times.

Royal Mail

Royal Mail Group Ltd is the standard mail service for the UK.

We currently offer a variety of Royal Mail services for UK and international shipments. Prices are quoted at the checkout after you have entered your address details.

Royal Mail is suitable for small parcels under 2kg, where a courier may not be suitable.

We offer FREE Royal Mail 48® Signed For, on all orders between £50.00-£150.00 going to a UK address. This service only provides signature confirmation and has no tracking features. Delivery is estimated at two business days, but experience has shown us that consignments can take 2-5 working days to arrive in some areas. If you require full tracking, or urgent delivery, we strongly reccomend that you choose UPS or Royal Mail Special Delivery as an alternative shipping method.

UPS

The United Parcel Service (UPS) is one of the world's largest and best known couriers. They offer reliable fully tracked express shipping worldwide.

We offer FREE UPS Standard® delivery on all orders over £150.00 going to a UK Mainland address.

What is Live Pricing?

In short - UPS pricing on our website is quoted live at the basket / checkout via a direct link to the UPS system. If you wish to know how much something costs to ship by UPS then you must add it to the cart and then proceed to the cart / checkout. In the cart area you will find a box called 'Estimate Shipping & Tax' - here you only need to enter your country, region & postcode to get a live quote of the price. All other shipping choices will also be displayed to allow you to make an informed choice.

UPS pricing is dynamic, which means what they charge us can change from week to week based upon volumes & fuel surcharges. They also have a very large range of 'extended area' surcharges that apply to areas all over the world, including the UK. UPS help their customers by providing an Application Programming Interface (API) which allows our website a live link to their systems. This means that the prices on our website are displayed live at the basket/checkout, based on the information you enter for the delivery address. For this reason entering your postcode accurately is critical; incorrect entries may cause the wrong price to be quoted. This system should also remove service options that are not available to your destination.

Services & Transit Times

UPS transit times are based upon the service selected and are a best estimate given to the location entered by you. Please note that there may be some exceptions to this in very remote areas of the UK; in such places deliveries may not be made daily and services may be two to three days rather than one.

By default the UPS transit times per UK service are as follows:

UPS Standard®: Day-Definite by Date Scheduled; typically next business day, depending on location. Delivery by end of day

UPS Saver®: Next business day typically by 12:30pm - In some locations the time may be later.

UPS Express®: Next business day typically by 10:30am - Not offered to all locations, but should be pre-noon in all cases.

UPS Express Plus®: Next business day typically by 09:00am - Not offered to all locations.

For International Deliveries:

UPS Standard®: Day-Definite by Date Scheduled; typically 2-6 business days, depending on location. Delivery by end of day.

UPS Saver®: Day-Definite by Date Scheduled; typically 1-5 business days, depending on location. Delivery by end of day.

UPS Express®: Day-Definite by Date Scheduled; typically 1-3 business days, depending on location. Delivery typically by 10.30 a.m or 12:00 noon.

UPS Express Plus®: Next business day a.m delivery to most addresses in Europe and the US. Second business day to Asia. - Not offered to all locations

Tracking & Missed Deliveries

UPS offer a full tracking facility. Our system will pull the tracking details for the shipment and this will be emailed to you. If you do not receive the email because it has been blocked by a spam filter then you may not need to contact us to find the number as it will be shown online by logging into your account. For telephone orders the same process applies, but you may need to contact us if you do not have an online account with us.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, they will take the parcel back to the nearest UPS depot. They will then make a further two attempts before the parcel is held and then returned to us. You may use the tracking details when contacting UPS to arrange re-delivery on a day that suits you. You may not change the delivery address after dispatch: If you wish to do so then you will need to contact us & a fee will apply.

Additional Charges

Any order shipped outside the United Kingdom (UK) will not be charged UK VAT, but may be liable for other charges, such as; import duties, custom duties & local sales tax. Please see Section 3.2 & 5.4 of our Terms & Conditions for details.

EU Customers Post Brexit

Now that the United kingdom (UK) has left the European Union (EU), how we process your orders has changed. In line with all our other internatonal custoners, we will no longer be charging UK VAT on orders shipping to the EU. You may be liable for other charges though, such as; import duties, custom duties & local sales tax.

To try and answer any questions you may have, please read the FAQ below:

Q1: If there is a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the UK and EU why I am being charged duties?
You will not pay import duty on any goods manufactured in the UK or EU. For goods manufactured outside of the UK or EU you may have to pay import duties. The amount will vary depending on the country of origin (manufacture) and the type of goods.

Q2: Do I still have to pay VAT?
We will no longer be charging VAT on orders shipping to the EU. You will pay the VAT on your order locally in your destination country.

Q3: Does this mean I am paying more?
For most orders you should not be paying more than before. Even though orders being shipped to the EU may incur tariffs and duties you should still be paying less or about the same. Remember, duties may only be applicable on goods manufactured outside the UK or EU.
