Arca Swiss Monoball P0+ with Quickset FlipLock Device
The Arca Swiss Monoball p0+ is the smallest and lightest monoball head in the ARCA-SWISS line of tripod heads. With a physical weight of only 435g, monoball p0+ will carry loads of up to 20 kg.
The ARCA-SWISS monoball p0+ with quickset fliplock device now features a new friction control unit. Monoball p0+ provides more control over heavier loads, or less tension with lighter loads. These choices provide added stability and improved control for fine adjustments.
The Monoball P0+ locking elements apply a uniform force around the ball ensuring smooth camera movements in any axis. When the camera is placed directly on the ball and not on its neck, the movements are as stable as if they were on a rubber ring. The aspherical ball also prevents sudden camera movements.
The panning system is located just below the camera mount, providing a panoramic rotation that remains in line with the vertical. The Monoball P0+ has a tilt ball range of 90° and 360° panning range. It weighs only 435g. With many adapter plates available (not included), it enables your camera to be mounted or dismounted from the tripod head in an instant.

The P0+ is an improvement over the original and excellent P0 model as it adds the ability to set the level of friction on the ball. The means of adjustment isn't immediately obvious but is recessed into the body of the head and once set is unlikely to be adjusted by accident.Price Quality Value
Like all Arca Swiss heads this example is beautifully engineered to last. There is a definite feeling of quality and attention to detail in the way it has been assembled.
The quick lock mechanism works superbly well, it is a two stage release and when it locks onto the plate nothing is going to move. The two stage release ensures that it is very unlikely the plate will come out of the flip lock unintentionally.
Strongly recommended if you want a high quality head to last you a very long time.
