Voigtlander 35mm f2 Macro Apo-Ultron Fuji X Mount Lens

The optical design is optimised for the image sensor of Fujifilm X system cameras. This lens is equipped with electronic contacts for reliable communication between the lens and body. Using bodies that support communication allows the transfer of exif data, focus check and shooting distance interlocking display. Certain models also support in-body image stabilisation and parallax correction functions.

The lens configuration consists of nine elements in six groups, with the latest optical system using three elements of abnormal partial-dispersion glass. It also features natural colour reproduction, without colour bleeding due to the apochromatic design.

The aperture mechanism uses an aperture ring connected directly to the opening and closing of the aperture blades, similar to the mechanism used in Voigtlander VM mount and mirrorless mount lenses. The minimum focusing distance is 16.3 cm (1:2 magnification), and the working distance from the subject is 6cm with the hood attached.

In addition to the shallow focusing effect of close-up photography, the large bokeh effect, characteristic of large-aperture macro photography expands the possibilities for photography. This lens isn't just for macro photography, but also for portraits, and landscapes, as it offers image quality that can be used with confidence - regardless of the distance to your subject. A compact, straight-type dedicated screw-in hood is included.

When the lens is attached to a model that does not support electrical contacts, aperture-priority auto shooting is possible by setting the camera's release without lens to "Permitted".
