This plate works perfectly with the Canon 5D Mark III (without BG-E11 battery grip) along with the the Arca-Swiss MonoballFix L-Bracket. You can also attach it to the battery grip but unlike the camera body, the battery grip itself does not have the hole to accept the small stabilising bar that is included with the plate.
