Gitzo’s top of the range Systematic tripods have been improved to provide even greater strength, stability and ease of use to exacting professional
photographers choosing the ideal support for long lenses and heavy camera equipment. Systematic payloads are almost doubled by new highperformance
bonding and construction techniques, and by design refinements to the top casting which optimize weight distribution. A tool-free ratchet
locking lever replaces the previous nut and bolt when interchanging the modular centre component, and a secondary safety mechanism with release
button now protects equipment during and after changeovers.

All updated Systematic tripods are made from 6X carbon fibre with Gitzo’s traditional “noir décor” paint finish used on cast components. A series 2 model
has been added to the range to offer the same advantages of mechanical strength and quality in a portable, lightweight size. The Systematic range now
comprises the following models:
series 2: standard 3- or 4-sections, plus a long 4-section model
series 3: standard 3- or 4-sections, plus long or extra-long 4-section models
series 4: standard 3- or 4-sections, plus a 4-section long model
series 5: standard 3- or 4-sections, plus long or extra-long 4-section models or the 6-section giant

Benefits of the new Systematic range.

1. FASTER TO SET-UP AND CONFIGURE; EASIER TO USE
• Opening and closing Systematic’s top casting is made much
easier by the new ratchet locking lever: switching between the
flat upper disk and the other specialised centre components no
longer requires tools.
• Built-in spiked feet (with protective rubber caps) allow faster
set-up when working on uneven surfaces, mud or snow.

2. SECONDARY SAFETY MECHANISM

• Even if the top casting is inadvertently left untightened, centre
components (and attached camera equipment) are held
securely in place by the secondary safety mechanism until the
release button is pushed, offering even safer support at all
times.

3. STRONGER AND MORE STABLE UNDER HEAVIER LOADS
• The payload of Systematic tripods has been almost doubled by
the use of a new high-performance bonding assembly process,
and by refinements to the top casting design which now
distributes weight more efficiently and evenly. A new
Systematic Series 5 tripod supports loads of up to 40kg.
