P monoballs most noticeable feature is the conspicuous absence of the locking knob. Wherever the user stands, they can easily reach for the head and secure the camera by simply turning the knurled collar. The head is equiped with 3 locking elements arranged round the ball, like planets. These elements are small gears synchronized to apply an uniform force around the ball, ensuring a smooth movement of the camera in any axis.
The unique (patented) aspherical ball also creates a gravitional friction force thus preventing sudden camera deviation.As the panning action is located below the camera mount; panoramic rotation can be carried out with the mount remaining in line with the vertical. The P tripod heads will be available in 2 models : p1 and p0. p0 offers tilt of 90 degrees and panning of 360 degrees.
