Hedler DX 15 Daylight Continuous Light Unit - Matte Safety Glass

Hedler daylight continuous light unit especially designed for the needs of Digital Video. The HEDLER DX15 has no forced air cooling - this means it's ideal for original sound recordings. With it's metal halogen lamp (150 W / SE) it produces a flicker-free light with approx. 6000 Kelvin. Special feature - the built-in ElectronicBallast has fault recognition for the lamp.

Designed for professional use, the lamp has an average lifetime of approx. 6,000 operating hours, and the ElectronicBallast of approx. 60,000 operating hours! Another pro - the HEDLER DX15's lamp produces a continuous light output power that equates to a 650 Watts and uses a standard Tungsten halogen lamp.

There is also a 3200 Kelvin lamp available (1532)

Within it´s lighting beam area it produces a light beam (compared to a traditional Tungsten halogen light unit) that has a relatively low temperature. Mainly important for material sensitive to heat and more pleasing for the people in front of your camera while making a video portrait.
