Voigtlander Rangefinder cameras
The Leica M bayonet Bessa VM range of bodies cover a range of applications from the Bessa-T which builds on the Bessa-L with the addition of a high magnification rangefinder for fast focusing. Like the Bessa-R, the Bessa-R2 features a built in rangefinder and viewfinder combined with a sturdy metal body. Voigtländer have produced the R3A and R2A which feature aperture priority automation in addition to manual exposure found on the R2M and R3M models.
The R3A features a 1x [life size] viewfinder and a frame for the new 40mm lens rather than 35mm, and is complimented by the R2A, which is identical other than having a viewfinder magnification of 0.7x and a conventional frame for 35mm lenses. The latest additions to the family are the R4M and R4A models, which have a unique wide angle 0.52x viewfinder, with unprecedented 21mm and 25mm framelines.
