The Lee system offers filter solutions to many fluorescent correction problems. Typically, fluorescent lighting causes two problems; an unpleasant green cast and a colour temperature mismatch.
With the Lee Fluorescent Correction filters, both colour temperature conversion and green absorption functions are combined into one filter: the filter used will depend on the fluorescent light and film type.
Filters are offered for correction with daylight (D)or tungsten balanced film (B), and in 3 colour temperatures of:
- 5700K [Cool White]
- 4300K [White]
- 3600 [Warm White] that are regularly used in fluorescent lighting.
