Zeiss Ikon SW camera body - Black

The new Zeiss Ikon SW body is designed predominantly for use with wide angle lenses, as it not equipped with a viewfinder or rangefinder. (Optical viewfinder shown an optional extra) With 15 to 25mm lenses, the depth of field from a stopped down lens scale focused or set at the hyperfocal setting, precludes the need for a rangefinder. The SW offers the similar manual and aperture priority AE metering as the original ZI camera, and has two accessory shoes to allow the use of an optical viewfinder and spirit level at the same time, for example.

The SW offers the same extremely high image quality as the original Zeiss Ikon rangefinder camera: far above most of todays digital cameras. It is fully integrated into the Zeiss Ikon system. The Zeiss Ikon SW comes without the complex rangefinder and is therefore considerably more affordable than the rangefinder camera.
